Opinion

ORDER

Following a jury trial in the Circuit Court of Jackson County at which he was self-represented, Gabriel Leonard was convicted of kidnapping, first-degree burglary, and second-degree domestic assault. This Court affirmed Leonards convictions on direct appeal. He then filed a motion for post-conviction relief under Supreme Court Rule 29.15. The circuit court denied relief following an evidentiary hearing. Leonard appeals. He argues that his appellate counsel was ineffective for failing to argue on direct appeal that the circuit court erred in denying him a continuance to enable private counsel to enter his appearance and represent Leonard at trial. We affirm. Because a published opinion would have no precedential value, we have provided an unpublished memorandum to the parties which sets forth the reasons for this order. Rule 84.16(b).
