I would grant and docket this application to examine R.S. 12:1320 and to determine whether the methodology set forth in Ogea v. Merritt, 13-1085 (La. 12/10/13), 130 So. 3d 888, is applicable in this case. Although I am of the opinion this Court should eventually address the distinctions between the application of the jurisprudential doctrine of veil piercing and La. R.S. 12:1320(D); such distinctions would not alter the result reached by the lower courts in this case. Crichton, J., would grant and docket and assigns reasons.
