Opinion

Writ application granted. See per curiam.

Granted. Having concluded the motion to recuse was not filed timely, the district court had authority to “deny the motion without the appointment of an ad hoc judge.” La. Code Civ. P. art. 154(C).

Accordingly, the judgment of the district court is vacated insofar as it orders a recusal hearing before an ad hoc judge. The motion to recuse is denied, and the case is remanded to the district court for further proceedings.
