ORDER DISMISSING APPEAL
This is an appeal from orders of the district court placing appellants minor children in protective custody pursuant to NRS Chapter 432B. Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County; Cynthia Dianne Steel; David S. Gibson, Jr.; Rhonda Kay Forsberg; Cynthia N. Giuliani; and Margaret E. Pickard, Judges Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County. Review of the notices of appeal and the documents before this court reveals a jurisdictional defect. The orders challenged in this appeal establish temporary custody of the minor children and set the matter for further proceedings. Temporary orders in NRS 432B actions are not final, and thus, are not appealable. See In re Temporary Custody of Five Minor Children, 105 Nev. 441, 443, 777 P.2d 901, 902 (1989), Accordingly, this court lacks jurisdiction over this appeal and we ORDER this appeal DISMISSED.
